Golden Circle of Champions

 What an incredible Night! The inaugural Golden Rodeo exceeded all expectations and showcased the true heart of our rodeo community.

This year's Golden Circle Champion, Emmy, and her family were treated like royalty throughout the entire weekend. From exclusive VIP experiences to behind-the-scenes access and special recognitions, Emmy was fully immersed in the rodeo community and culture. More importantly, she experienced firsthand what so many of us already know: rodeo is family.

The outpouring of support from sponsors, volunteers, contestants, donors, and community members was nothing short of remarkable. Through generous donations and a highly successful auction, we raised significant funds to help support Emmy and her family with medical expenses and other challenges they face during her journey.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed their time, talents, and resources to make this possible. The love and support shown to Emmy and her family will be remembered for years to come.

The Elizabeth Stampede is proud to partner with the Golden Circle of Champions, a national organization dedicated to raising awareness and providing support for children battling pediatric cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Founded in 2016, the Golden Circle of Champions works alongside rodeos across the country to honor courageous children and their families while bringing communities together in support of their journey.

Why Gold?

Gold is the internationally recognized color for childhood cancer awareness. Each year, thousands of families receive a life-changing diagnosis, facing emotional, physical, and financial challenges that no family should have to endure alone. The Golden Circle of Champions exists to ensure these children and their families know they are supported, celebrated, and never forgotten.

Rodeo Is Family

One of the most powerful aspects of the Golden Circle of Champions is the way the rodeo community rallies around children and families. Through special recognition, unique experiences, and meaningful connections with cowboys, cowgirls, volunteers, and supporters, families are welcomed into a community that embodies the spirit of compassion, resilience, and service.

At the Elizabeth Stampede, we are honored to bring this tradition to Elizabeth, CO by recognizing a child and their family each year. Throughout the Stampede Rodeo weekend, our Golden Circle Champion and their family are invited to experience the rodeo as VIP guests, creating memories and connections that will last a lifetime.

Supporting Families

Through donations, sponsorships, fundraising events, and our annual Golden Circle auction, funds raised locally help support the selected family as they navigate the challenges that accompany a serious medical diagnosis. These funds may help offset expenses such as medical bills, travel costs, lodging, meals, and other family needs.
